Romy Wymer is a Glasgow-based harpist, originally from the Netherlands. She currently spends her time teaching, performing, and composing new music inspired by nature, artwork, stories and the mundane joys of life.

She plays with harp trio The Willow Trio, who have recently released their debut album the Swan of Salen, and jazz collective Azamiah, who will be releasing their debut soon. She was a semifinalist in the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year; and was awarded second place and the audience award in the World Harp Competition.

The highly adept composition stylings of Wymer display a close knowledge of the clarsach and an admirable musicality in her writing, which is both deftly paced and mindfully arranged ... It is a joyous capturing of sound which I cannot recommend highly enough.
